Equipment Maintenance:
All the structures which are used by Freight Wings Pvt Ltd are designed, built as well as maintained in house. A special team of engineers work dedicatedly to ensure all the equipment and the supporting equipment are maintained on a regular basis. Each and every equipment, structures and the supporting equipment are tested and maintained in our Workshops. As the technology progresses, we ensure that we upgrade our equipment accordingly
We undertake Maintenance under two categories:
- Preventive Maintenance
- Break Down Maintenance
Preventive Maintenance:
It is said that prevention is better than cure and hence we have a preventive maintenance implementation system in our organization. All the equipment are tested on a regular basis, even if they are not to be used for some duration. Removing and filtering the hydraulic oil, dry running, cleaning of parts is done to ensure smooth working of the equipment. In every run, all the equipment are tested for proper functioning and fault finding is done. As soon as any fault is discovered, the team ensures to find a solution and resolve it. We follow the preventive maintenance schedule given by the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) for better life of the equipment.
Breakdown Maintenance:
It is rare for a breakdown to happen, but we are always ready to face the unexpected. We believe in maintaining and stocking a large inventory of certain spare parts of all essential equipment which would be required in case of a breakdown. At our sites, we have a team which includes engineers, foreman, riggers, technicians, electricians, fitters etc. So in case of a breakdown, we ensure that the problem is solved then and there only, reducing the delay time.
Workshops
Freight Wings has its own workshops located at the outskirts of Mumbai, India.
We are equipped with fabrication equipment and we have in house capabilities for fabrication of steel structure for our own use. Our workshop is equipped with handling equipment like EOT’s and Cranes, thereby making us capable of specialized, and customized fabrication under class. We have in house quality checks for such precise fabrication
At our workshop, we undertake activities such as welding, grinding, cutting, machining, repairing, etc. We have appropriate covered storage for all our equipment and even the supporting equipment. We also own Cranes, Hydras, EOT’s, Forklifts, Manlifts, etc for carrying out loading and unloading of the materials.
