Successful Load-out of multiple Offshore Jackets weighing up-to 2600 MT

Nature of Work: Load Out of 2 Nos. of Offshore Jackets – VSEC measuring 54.5m x 30.77m x 34.51m and weighing 2559 MT and VSEB measuring 60m x 29.68m x 33.75m and weighing 2230 MT for L&T Modular Fabrication Facility, Chennai for the Additional Development of Vasai East Project (ADVEP) of ONGC.

Project Highlight: Freight Wings was awarded the engineering and loadout contract for the 2 Jackets of Additional Development of Vasai East Project of ONGC at Mumbai Hight. Due to the location at which the jackets were fabricated, the VSEC jacket had to be maneuvered on Trailers in a zig-zag way steering the jacket clear of the VSEB jacket in a semi-circular path and then straight march onto the RO-RO jetty. The two load-outs were executed within a gap of 25 days. The scope of work included load-out engineering, including the mooring analysis, ballasting deballasting calculations, stability analysis, and the entire loadout operation. Both the load-outs were carried out safely as per the schedule.
