Project Overview
Aacharya Ratna Bahubali Maharaj Seva Sangh planned to erect a 9-meter tall statue of Bhagwan Shri Aadinath Teerthankar in Rukadi, Kolhapur, Maharashtra. This impressive statue, carved from a massive granite rock, was to be installed on the temple terrace, approximately 60 feet above ground level.
Challenges and Initial Considerations
Initially, the plan was to lift the statue using cranes. However, due to limited space accessibility and the clustered geographical area, using cranes was not feasible. With no prospects left, the client reached out to Freight Wings Pvt Ltd (FWPL) for a solution.
Innovative Solution by FWPL
FWPL undertook the task of erecting this auspicious statue. For the installation, FWPL’s Mega Tower Lift Systems provided the ideal solution. The operation involved lifting the idol above the terrace top level, skidding it into place, and positioning it securely on its foundation.
