Transportation Of C3 Splitter – Reliance Industries Ltd

We successfully transported the C3 Splitter for RIL’s J3 project in Feb 2015. The mammoth Splitter measuring 115.1m x 8.1m x 8.3 m and weighing 834 MT is one of the world’s longest Splitters. Its transport posed several challenges, including Roll-off at Sikka Jetty, where the available length is only about 125m. This transport also required navigating several 90 degrees and ‘S’ turns, including the critical turn on the public road at the Moti Khavadi railway crossing. However, the splitter was transported smoothly and safely on our SPMT’s over a distance of nearly 30 km and delivered at the site at the designated location.
